Terms of use
1. Who this is between
PREJUDGE is made by Calvin Wormer, the Netherlands. By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, delete the app. The app runs on iPhone and on Android, and the store you got it from has its own terms on top of these: on an iPhone, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which Apple applies to every app on the App Store; on Android, the Google Play Terms of Service. Where these terms and the store's disagree, the store's terms win.
2. What the app is, and what it is not
PREJUDGE is a practice tool. It times posing rounds, calls poses out loud and films you so you can watch yourself back.
- It is not medical, health or nutrition advice. Posing is physical effort held under tension; if you have any doubt about whether that is safe for you, ask a doctor, not an app.
- It does not judge you and it cannot predict a placing. What a judging panel does on the day is theirs alone.
- The rules data in the app follows published federation rules, which change. Before you compete, check the current official rules of the federation and the show you entered. The app is not a substitute for them.
You use the app at your own risk, and you are responsible for training safely and for where you place your phone while it films.
3. The IFBB Pro League
The round order and pose names in the app are based on the public IFBB Pro League competition rules. PREJUDGE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by the IFBB Pro League, the IFBB or any other federation. Their names are used only to say which published rules a routine follows.
4. Music you import
You can add your own music to a routine. By importing a track you confirm that you own it or have the rights to use it. The app plays it on your phone and, if you export a routine with music, writes it into a file on your phone.
What you then do with that file is yours to answer for. Rights to publish a track, to post it in a video or to play it at a show are not granted by this app, and posting a video with music you have no rights to can get the video taken down. PREJUDGE is not a party to that and accepts no responsibility for it. If you have no rights to a track, do not import it.
5. Your videos and your content
Everything you record, write or build in the app is yours. What you practise with stays on your phone and we never see it, unless you send it to a coach in coach mode (section 6); see the privacy policy. For what you send in coach mode, you allow us to store it and to show it to your coach and the coaches on their team, only to run coach mode, for as long as the privacy policy says. We claim no other licence over anything you make.
6. Coach mode
Coach mode connects an athlete with their posing coach. It is optional and free for athletes, and it is only for people aged 18 and over, athletes and coaches alike. You agree to these terms, coach mode included, when you join a coach in the app.
- Joining. You join a coach with that coach's invite and an account made with your email address, and you confirm you are 18 or over. What you send (rounds, check-in photos, voice notes, messages) is seen by your coach and the other coaches on their team, and by nobody else, as the privacy policy describes.
- What you upload. Send only what you filmed, photographed or recorded of yourself, and nobody else unless they agreed. Posing wear, as on stage: no nudity and nothing sexual. Check-in photos are photos of your body in posing wear; send them only if you are comfortable with your coach seeing them.
- Zero tolerance for abuse. Harassment, threats, hate, sexual messages or images, or pressuring someone to send photos they do not want to send, end that person's access to coach mode at once, without a warning. We remove the content, and where it may be a crime we can report it to the police. This applies to athletes and coaches alike.
- Report and block. In the chat, a long press on a message lets you report it to us or block the person who wrote it, and the review of a round has Report too. We act on every report within 24 hours: content that breaks these terms is removed, and the person who sent it loses access. You can also write to support@prejudge.app.
- Feedback is not a promise. Feedback, scores and homework are your coach's opinion, not ours, and not a judge's. Section 2 applies to them as much as to the app.
- Leaving and deleting. You can leave your coach at any time in the app; your coach loses access to what you sent at once, and you keep your history. You can delete your coach mode account at any time in Settings, Coach. An account not used for 24 months is deleted, after an email warning 30 days before.
- Availability. Coach mode depends on servers, so it can be unavailable now and then. Round videos are kept 90 days after they arrive, then deleted; save anything you want to keep longer on your phone.
- Coaches accept the coach terms as well when they create a coach account.
7. Pro, and how the subscription works
Parts of the app need Pro. Pro is an auto renewing subscription sold through the App Store on an iPhone and through Google Play on Android, in these forms:
- Monthly.
- Yearly, with a 7 day free trial for anyone who has not had one before.
- Founder yearly, a launch price offered until 16 October 2026, that stays with you for as long as the subscription stays active without a gap.
On an iPhone, the rules Apple sets:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and the price and period are shown before you do.
- It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged within 24 hours before the new period starts.
- Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings, your name, then Subscriptions.
- If you buy a subscription while a free trial is running, the unused part of the trial ends there.
- Refunds are Apple's to give, through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund an App Store purchase ourselves, although we will help you if something in the app went wrong.
- Your EU right to withdraw within 14 days of a digital purchase is a right against Apple as the seller, and Apple's own terms cover how it is used.
On Android, the rules Google sets:
- Payment is charged to the payment method in your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, and the price and period are shown before you do.
- It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Manage or cancel it in the Google Play app, under Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Refunds go through Google: ask for one in Google Play, from your order history. If something in the app went wrong, write to us as well and we will help.
- Your EU right to withdraw within 14 days of a digital purchase is a right against Google as the seller, and the Google Play terms cover how it is used.
On both, deleting the app does not cancel anything. Prices can change. A change never applies to a period you already paid for, and Apple or Google tells you before it charges a higher renewal, and asks you to agree where its rules require that.
8. Offer codes
Offer codes work on an iPhone only, for now; the Android app has none yet. Codes we hand out are redeemed through Apple, for the offer they name, once per Apple Account unless stated otherwise, and until their end date. A code has no cash value, is not transferable and cannot be combined with another offer. An offer that ends does not shorten a subscription you already have.
9. Using the app fairly
Do not take the app apart, work around the lock on Pro, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. Do not use it to record other people without their agreement, and keep to the rules for coach mode in section 6. Federation rules data in the app is there for your own practice, not to be scraped and republished.
10. Availability and changes
The app is given as it is. We do not promise it is free of faults, that every feature stays forever, or that it runs on every future version of iOS or Android. Features can change, and a feature that is still being built is described as such in the app, never sold as finished.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the maker of PREJUDGE is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost recordings, for a missed placing, for injury from training, or for anything arising from music you had no rights to. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory EU or national law.
12. Ending it
You can stop using the app whenever you want; delete it, and cancel the subscription in iPhone Settings or in Google Play if you have one. Access can be ended for someone who breaks these terms, for example by tampering with the Pro lock, and access to coach mode at once for abuse (section 6). You can delete your coach mode account at any time in the app.
13. Law
Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring a case there.
